Aligning Yourself from the Inside Out:

Yoga Anatomy Workshop

Wild Rose Yoga Studio, Chiang Mai Thailand

In this Yoga Anatomy Workshop, we will explore in depth, the structure and function of human anatomy.  This course will be intensive and practical but also with an atmosphere of fun and enjoyment. 

In this workshop we will also explore yoga poses as a way to develop our understanding of the importance of alignment and gain deeper awareness of the way our body works.

This 5 day Yoga Anatomy course is also intended to increase your awareness of yoga practice by looking deeply at the most elemental anatomy and physiology involved while enabling in the development of a safer practice.

 

Levels: 1-3 Course times: 5 days, 9:30-12:30 and 2:00-5:00 each day, 30 hours total

Day 1: Muscle Function, Stretch phisiology and body tissue

Day 2: Tissue healing, anatomy of the feet, ankles, and knees

Day 3: Anatomy of the hips, sacrum, and spine

Day 4: Anatomy of the shoulders,  neck and elbows

Day 5: Anatomy of the breath, mind-body connections
