In the meantime, here are some answers to our most frequently asked questions to guide you.

Are there daily drop-in yoga classes?

YES – By BOOKING ONLY.  Wild Rose Yoga Studio only accepts bookings for yoga classes every day of the week using  WhatsApp.  Just check the yoga class schedule page for the class times, dates, descriptions and levels to suit your personalized yoga practice or preference.  Then send a message using WhatsApp with:

Is Wild Rose Yoga Studio OPEN every day?

Yes.  Wild Rose Yoga Studio is open for daily drop-in yoga classes 7 days of the week:  Monday – Sunday.

Is the yoga class schedule up to date?

Yes.  The Wild Rose Yoga class schedule is always up to date and viewable for about 1 month in advance.

If you are travelling to Thailand at some distant future date and are curious about the yoga classes, courses or 200 hour yoga teacher trainings offered in Chiang Mai during your stay – just reach out and ask and we will do our best to assist.

Do I need a resevation for a yoga class?

YES.  A reservation is needed for drop-in yoga classes at Wild Rose Yoga Studio. Just send a message using WhatsApp with the following details:

  1. Name or names
  2. Yoga Class Date & Time
  3. Your Yoga Level
  4. Any challenges in the body or injuries / conditions we should know about

 

How do I get to your yoga studio?

Please visit us on Google Maps or visit our Yoga Studio Map page for our location in Chiang Mai.

You will find Wild Rose Yoga Studio on  Lane 4/1 Alleyway Phra Pok Klao Rd,
Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai 50200, Thailand.

  • Entering from: Phrapokklao Road onto Soi 4,  (you will see Siam Commercial Bank and Alleyway Juice Bar on Prapokklao at beginnig of Soi 4),  WRY is the first “quick” left off Soi 4 – onto Soi 4/1.  (look for small WRY sign when turning onto Soi 4/1).

    • Entering from:   “Phraprokklao Soi 2 Chiang Mai Gate Morning Market”,  find Wild Rose Yoga through small narrow alley in middle of “Phrapokklao Soi 2 Chiang Mai Gate Morning Market”.

Wild Rose Yoga Studio will be on your right hand side at end of very small alley.

  • Entering from:  back of  Phrapokklao Soi 4/1, (near Clay Cafe   OR  33 Poshtel),  proceed down Soi 4/1 until you see small sign, big red gate and large plants.

Yes.  Please check out the Wild Rose Yoga Class Pass options page.

Is there parking near your yoga studio?

Wild Rose Yoga Studio has parking for motorcycles and bicycles on site.

For car parking:

  1.  Use Wat Fon Soi located on Phrapokklao.  Cost 20 thb.  Walk out the back entrance of temple to Wild Rose Yoga Street.  Be sure to keep door unlocked and in neutral for temple lady if you are blocking in another car.
  2.  Use parking “behind” Wooden Noodle Shop across from Wat Fon Soi.  Large open parking lot.  20 thb
  3.   Use street parking on PhrapoklaoFREE.  Just park on correct side of road during correspoding odd or even day of the week.

How early should I show up for a drop in yoga class?

For low season months in Chiang Mai:  March – October, please show up 10 – 15 minutes before yoga class start time.

For high season months in Chiang Mai:  November – February, please show up 15 – 30 miutes before yoga class start time.

Is the Wild Rose Yoga Studio open all day?

Wild Rose Yoga Studio opens 30 minutes before each scheduled yoga class.

For low season months, March – October, please show up 10 – 15 minutes before yoga class start time.

For high season months, November – February, please show up 15 – 30 miutes before yoga class start time.

Are the yoga classes in English?

Yes.  All of the Wild Rose Yoga Studio yoga classes, courses and trainings are in English.

Does Wild Rose Yoga Studio have free yoga mats?

YesWild Rose Yoga Studio provides Free Yoga Mats in exchange for washing your feet before all yoga classes and cleaning your yoga mat with our signiture yoga mat spray at the end of each yoga class.

What times are the yoga classes?

Most morning classes start at 10:00 am and most evening classes start at 5:30 pm.

Does Wild Rose Yoga Studio have a 200 hour yoga teacher training?

Can you arrange private yoga classes in Chiang Mai?

Yes.  Wild Rose Yoga Studio regularly provides private yoga classes for individuals and private group yoga classes as well, for an advanced or subtle yoga practice, challenges or deep learning as well as privacy or convenience.

I'm a beginner, is there an appropriate beginner yoga class for me?

Yes.  Wild Rose Yoga Studio strives to be inclusive of all  levels while being mindful that not all yoga students are at the same level.  Please see those yoga classes indicated in their description on our  yoga class schedule page as most appropriate for a beginner yoga student.

I want to bring my group to a drop-in yoga class - is that ok?

If you would like your group of more than 5 people travelling to Chiang Mai to join a regularly scheduled drop-in yoga class, please send us a message.

I need an advanced yoga class, can I find one at Wild Rose Yoga?

Yes.  Wild Rose Yoga Studio provides an abundance of high level yoga classes for yoga students with prior experience.   Please see schedule for yoga class descriptions and levels.

Are there any showers at the studio?

Yes.  Feel free to bring a towel and shower after your yoga class.

Is there free water?

Yes. Wild Rose Yoga Studio provides free filtered water to all of our yoga students.

Is there an air filter Wild Rose Yoga Studio?

Yes. Wild Rose Yoga Studio has two HEPA air filters and a lush verdant garden surrounding the studio.

Should I bring a towel?

Yes.  If you will be attending a sweaty vinyasa yoga class, we recommend a small yoga towel.

My English isn't great, is that ok?

If you have a difficult time understanding English, but have experience, please be sure to take a space in the back row in order to more easily follow along with the front row as well as the yoga instructor.
