Over the last 20 years, within the scientific realm of human anatomy, there has been an immense amount of knowledge that has been discovered. About the characteristics of fascia. About how our emotional health is linked to the physical body. About movement vs stillness, and the parasympathetic nervous system.
This style of movement aims to use this recent knowledge to adapt yoga so that the practice services your individual body and mind. You will move in a way that is functional and allows you to move inwards. In a way giving you knowledge that helps you adapt yoga or other forms of movement to suit your body.
‘Mindful Myofascial Flow’ is a synthesis of: yoga, anatomy, fascia, somatics, meditation and movement for myofascial meridians. This workshop focus is on functional movement linked to breath awareness. It is suitable for people of all levels of strength and flexibility.
This workshop welcomes all students interested in all that is yoga.
